I was off work today so Brandt and I hung out at home most of the day. Got up early, about 7am, only to begin the day with Brandt's latest obsession - Tom & Jerry. And when I say obsession, that does not even begin to describe it. If I could count the number of times daily I hear, "I wanna watch Tom & Jerry", well, I would have to be able to count REALLY high! :) His other most recent fixation is watching "the baby animals" on youtube.com. Here is how I found him earlier this morning . . .
and then . . .
We met Anthony for lunch at Heavenly Ham (yum -O - as quoted by my most favorite TV cooking show host, Rachael Ray). Speaking of Anthony, I have to give him props. He recently granted my long time nagging request; to have a screen door placed to our patio. I wanted it for multiple reasons: 1. reminds me of home 2. love the smell of fall and having that cool air blow all through the house (when it arrives) 3. (most of the reason why I wanted it) so I can hear Brandt's (spine tingling, blood curdling, ear drum rupturing) jovial squeals as he throws shovel full after shovel full of sand out of his sand box (most likely to land on one of the innocent dogs who happen to be roving by). It took a bit of brain bending to solve the perplexity of actually attaching the thing, but it finally turned out great!
We finished up the night with a good meal of Poppy Seed Chicken and a "blue water" bath. No, we don't have weird water. I have these plop plop fizz fizz tablets that you drop into bath water, they turn the water several different colors. Tonights choice was blue (this is a meager attempt at getting Brandt to learn his colors - which he has made quite apparent that he is NOT going to do!).
So B is in bed . . . Anthony is vegged out on the couch . . . I am blogging (and then headed immediatly to bed). It's off to work in the morning. TaTa for now!
